Simple Garden Fence with 4x4s

This is a very nice, simple, and affordable garden fencing option that many of our customers choose for their outdoor spaces. It utilizes 4x4 pressure treated posts, 6' black welded wire, a 2x4 pressure treated top rail, and a 2x6 or 2x4 pressure treated bottom rail. This effective design keeps out deer and all but the smallest wildlife. For those who prefer a different aesthetic, a cedar option is also available instead of the pressure treated wood.

Simple Garden Fence with Round Posts
Some of our customers are exploring different garden fencing options and prefer to forgo a full top rail for their garden fence. In this case, our round post option with diagonal bracing serves as the perfect alternative. While we cannot attach welded wire to 4x4 posts without a top rail due to the significant bowing that can occur over time, the 5-6" round pressure-treated posts tend to maintain their shape with minimal bowing. Another viable fence design is to use 6x6 square pressure-treated posts with the same diagonal bracing at the corners and gates. We also offer a natural round cedar post option, though it is often challenging to find the lumber in stock.

Garden Fence Options
This is a beautiful garden fence design that was created due to the numerous requests from customers for framed cattle/hog panel garden fencing options. Unfortunately, the framed cattle panel/hog panels work best only on perfectly flat ground, which is quite rare; otherwise, gaps in the corners can compromise your garden. As an alternative, we developed this framed welded wire look, which offers the same attractive appearance as the cattle panel without visible staples, while accommodating the natural grade of the ground and preventing those gaps. Given the amount of lumber required to create this no-staple garden fence option, it is also our more costly garden fencing solution.
